I grew up in Sweden where I received a B.A. at the University of Lund, and a degree in Library Science at the Library School in Stockholm. I worked in Sweden as a librarian until I moved to the US in 1960 with my husband and a small child. After I raised my family in this country I worked for several years in the computer field, including desktop publishing and training and support. After retirement, I have created and am managing five websites, among them the Mountains Group site. I have been a member of the Sierra Club for more than 25 years and on the Mountains Group's ExCom since 2001.
