At our November General Meeting we will show and discuss the second half of the video Home. French photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, a passionate advocate of nature protection and sustainable development, has captured our globe’s landscapes from above, providing a bird’s eye view of Earth. The first part of the video was shown at our September meeting. The second part was originally scheduled to be shown at the October meeting, but heavy fog prevented many members from attending, so the showing was postponed to November.

The aerial film provides the audience with a unique view of our planet, awareness of how we treat our magnificent natural treasures and visual evidence of our exploitation of the Earth's resources.
